A family friendly play based on the best traditions of the Eastern European Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations! This family friendly program includes games, singing, and dancing, followed by a play directed by Lara Ravitch (a participating faculty in the Russian, East European, and Eurasian studies at the University of Oregon). Music will be preformed by Trio Voronezh – a musical ensemble that produces incredibly exciting sounds and compelling arrangements of classics across a variety of musical styles, all played upon Russian folk instruments, which they will showcase to the audience prior to the show.
